I was born and raised in the western suburbs.  I have one sibling, Nathan, who is currently going to school to become a pilot.  I am married to my husband, Mr. La Rose and  we enjoy living in our vibrant city.  We have a beautiful two year old boy named, Gianluca.  We also have one dog, Mia.  We love to travel during the summer and spend much of our time cheering on our favorite sports teams, Chicago Bears, Bulls and Cubs!
     I have a degree in Elementary Education from DePaul University.  I graduated in 2006 and began my teaching career at Walt Disney Magnet School as a 5th grade student aid.  I taught 5th grade for one year before my current Kindergarten assignment.  Being a teacher is something I have always had a passion for.  Throughout high school and college, I worked as a camp counselor during the summer, which prompted my decision to become a teacher. 

    Having fun learning is one of my primary goals.  My inspiration to teach is fostered by my love to help children reach their academic potential and to provide an atmosphere in which learning is grounded with respect, kindness and cooperation.  My teaching philosophy is rooted in the simply believe of “believing in yourself".
